REMEMBER YOUR DISPLAY BOARD NEEDS TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Title of Project
  • Purpose
  • Hypothesis
  • Research
  • Materials
  • Experiment Procedures
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • Abstract: This is the last part of the project, which is basically a summary.  (It should be about 250 words, fit on one page skipping lines and contain 5 paragraphs)

          It should include the following:

  1. Purpose - explanation of why you did this project and what was the question you wanted to answer
  2. Hypothesis - explanation of what you THINK your experiment will prove
  3. Procedure: A. Research - briefly explain your research and where you got your information

                          B. Experiment - state your goal and outcome of your experiment (be sure to tell if the experiment proved or disproved your hypothesis.

     4.  Results - explanation of what was the most important facts learned from the project

     5.  Conclusion - Explanation of what your results mean; can you compare the results to anything else you know and do your results give you any ideas for future research

  • HERE ARE SOME EXAMPLES OF SCIENCE FAIR DISPLAY BOARDS - Some of the examples DO NOT have all the requirements.

These are just examples for you to get an idea of how to set up your display.
